1. Tybee River Race: 6 ½ miles on the tidal river separating Tybee and Little Tybee Islands; tests speed and endurance.
2. Little Tybee Challenge: 8 miles, circumnavigates part of Little Tybee Island, passing through narrow tidal creeks, broad tidal rivers, open coastal areas, and two surf zones. Little Tybee Challenge racers should have rough water experience and be competent at self rescue. Your boat must be sea worthy in rough conditions.
3. Race Across the River for Gold Sponsors: Our Gold sponsors compete for a grand prize of a two- hour natural history trip for ten-plus people on Mike Neal’s boat, the Island Explorer, or a kayak adventure for up to 8 with Moon River Kayak Tours. Each of these sponsors selects one person (employed by the business or part of the group) to race a kayak (we provide) across the Back River and back to the marina.

Come enjoy an afternoon into evening 10K walk in the beautiful city of Tybee Island Georgia (5k option available as well). We will have a Sunset Ceremony at Fisherman’s Walk pier, then each walker will receive a pink glow stick and will travel the last mile along the beach (optional). We will then finish at the Tybee Pier and Pavilion with a Celebration of Life Party complete with TropRock artist Jim Asbell playing on the Pier! Fund raising is the lifeblood of any charitable organization, so fund raising and sponsorships are strongly encouraged so we might make a bigger impact on the cancer community in Coastal Georgia! We also need Crew members to come out and help our walkers along their journey, so if you can’t walk, please consider Crewing…either way, it will be an experience you will not soon forget!
